Considered as a true city within the Madinat al-Yahud, or city of the Jews, Toledo Jewish Quater is a large urban space that occupies almost ten percent of the walled Toledo. Divided into different districts, which correspond to the different stages of its expansion, the Toledo Jewish Quarter is an intricate maze that needs to be limited in order to obtain an overview of how they were and how they lived Toledo Jews at least for eleven centuries.
